Back to Christmas created in response to the return of in-person gatherings after the pandemic. A creative market event featuring works by MFA Illustration artists. I contributed to the art direction and the design of event merchandise, translating themes of reunion, warmth, and celebration into a cohesive visual system applied across physical objects and event materials.
A GIF version of the event title features a character holding a controller to reveal the words “Back to Christmas,” using a curtain like motion to evoke the feeling of return, reopening, and the revival of in-person gatherings.
